The Gather Davis mission is to cultivate joy by creating a vibrant and sustainable space for community growth and connection building. To meet our mission we have a number of focus areas, starting with the following:

Art and theater

Cultivating joy and creativity through art and theater is a key goal of Davis Gather. Everything from dance classes to all-ages music shows and improv theatre can find a home here.

Food

Food is a natural connector for community and Davis has many of the key ingredients for food education and culinary programming. Gather Davis aims to honor our food traditions and make new ones.

Culture

Davis and Yolo County is home to people from many cultures and ethnicities. We aim to create a space for learning, connection and empowerment, working with non-profits and leaders focused on Ethnic Studies and cultural education.

Sustainability

We live in a critical time for securing the health and sustainability of our planet. Luckily Davis is on the forefront of these efforts and we will make space and support programs for Davis organizations focused on environmental causes.

Entrepreneurship

In the heart of Davis, where innovation meets community, Gather Davis envisions a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs. Our mission is to empower local startups, nonprofits and entrepreneurs by providing a collaborative coworking space that not only serves as a launchpad for ideas but also as a nurturing environment for growth.

Wellness

Being well (or wellbeing) is a cornerstone to a vibrant and healthy community. We believe all our gatherings will innately contribute to wellness through human connection. We also want to create space for programming specifically focused on wellness and mental health.
